We have developed a plan to have internet service restored to Tyne Valley and area impacted by the loss of the rink due to a fire. Our equipment and electrical feed was damaged. We have the necessary equipment on hand and have booked a crane to start the necessary work. We will be repositioning a temporary structure to accommodate the transmission gear needed to provide service. We are 90% ready to begin the restoration work tomorrow. We anticipate the work to be completed within 24 to 36 hours.
Our heart goes out to the members of our communities that have supported the Tyne Valley Rink over the last almost 50+ years. We believe the original structure was established on site in the early to mid 60s. Folks stay strong and lend support when and where you can! It all helps!
